William Li: Can We Eat To Starve Cancer?

Dr. William Li says yes, we can eat to starve cancer. In fact, he says that some foods are more powerful than drugs when it comes to cancer prevention. Obesity has long been linked to cancer and since diet accounts for 30% to 35% of cancer William Li is working with other medical professionals such as Dean Ornish to prevent angiogenesis. Pretty much all of us have cancer cells in our body and  what we eat is our chemotherapy 3 times a day. There are fruits and vegetables that starve cancer and help the body to balance angiogenesis creating a state of cancer without disease. The typical American diet feeds cancer. At Slender For Life™ and with the hypnosis for cancer sessions that I have with clients, I recommend the eating strategy developed by Dr. Dean Ornish, Dr. John McDougall and Dr. Neal Barnard of the Physicians Committee For Responsible Medicine (PCRM).

I recently wrote about Forks Over Knives and The China Study.  The feature film Forks Over Knives examines the profound claim that most, if not all, of the degenerative diseases that afflict us can be controlled, or even reversed, by rejecting our present menu of animal-based and processed foods. Be sure that you also read Forks Over Knives.

In my Seattle hypnosis and Bainbridge Island hypnosis offices of Slender For Life™ I support clients with hypnosis so that they can change their eating strategies to one that supports health, healing and wellness.  My book Becoming Slender For Life and its hypnosis CD set provide you tools and resources for eating healthy.

If you live on the Kitsap or Olympic Peninsulas, I will be offering a monthly hypnosis for cancer support group at the Peninsula Cancer Center. These sessions are open to anyone interested in health and wellness and are held the 3rd Monday of each month from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM.

Check out Slender For Life™ and call (206) 903-1232 or email for your free consultation.
