It’s Still Unhealthy
I’m in Daytona Beach as I write this post teaching a two day Bariatric Weight Loss class for the International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association (IMDHA). After class yesterday I walked through the pool area to go for a long walk on the beach and I overheard a couple of mom’s talking and one was telling the other that she only buys her kids organic meats – no matter what the cost may be.
The Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM) tells us that “Even the leanest chicken cuts have cholesterol, because it lurks in the muscle tissue. Overall, chicken contains only slightly less fat than beef does—23 percent fat as opposed to 29 percent fat. And much of it is artery-clogging saturated fat, the worst type.”
