How do you rank?

According to the CDC, five key health-related behaviors for chronic disease prevention are never smoking, getting regular physical activity, consuming no alcohol or only moderate amounts, maintaining a normal body weight, and obtaining daily sufficient sleep.

Are you one of the 6% or are you one of the 94%? If you are one of the 6%, BRAVO! CONGRATULATIONS! APPLAUSE, APPLAUSE, APPLAUSE!

If you are one of the 94%, there is hope and support for you. At Seattle Hypnosis with Roger Moore, these are five behaviors that I help clients with on a daily basis.

If you are a smoker, my Break Free Stop Smoking Hypnosis program can have you out the door at the end of your first session as a non-smoker.

You can learn self-hypnosis for exercise and other motivational skills from me that get you off the couch so that you can increase your daily physical activity.

In the mid 1970’s I studied at the Vern Johnson Institute, St. Mary’s Hospital and Hazeldon and completed my training as a Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor. Over the years I have assisted many people with hypnosis to end addiction or stop alcohol abuse.

My Slender For Life™ Hypnosis Weight Loss program is known worldwide as a healthy and successful way to lose weight and keep it off

Are you sleepless in Seattle? No matter where you may live, I have taught hypnosis skills for sleep to hundreds of people since I began my private practice in 1997. We can meet in my office in Seattle, Bainbridge Island or online from the comfort of your home or office.

Hypnosis for Your Health and Wellness

Imagine improving your health and wellness. Hypnosis help is here for you. You may have many questions on how that can be possible. I get that.

Most of my life I was overweight and inactive. I was one of the 94%. But, thanks to hypnosis for weight loss, I released 115 pounds over 19 years ago and I’ve kept it off. I’m now active and healthy. No more worries about high blood pressure and diabetes for me.

How Can Hypnosis Help You?

From my perspective, we are always in trance. Hypnosis is learning to take control of the trance you are in. You may recognize mindless eating trance or stress eating trance. Or perhaps you experience a smoking trance. Or, maybe yours is alcohol abuse trance. Or maybe your trance is on a couch in front of the tube or video game.

With mindfulness self-hypnosis, you can be in control of you and create a healthy lifestyle. Ask your doctor if being one of the 6% is right for you.

In the September 27, 2006 issue of Newsweek magazine, Dr. David Spiegel of Stanford University School of Medicine, wrote: “One of the interesting ironies about hypnosis is that old fantasy that it takes away control. It’s actually a way of enhancing people’s control, of teaching them how to control aspects of their body’s function and sensation that they thought they couldn’t.”

Only 6% of Americans Engage in All 5 of the Health Behaviors That Can Prevent the Majority of Chronic Disease (and they didn’t count diet, which usually has the lowest rate of adherence and lowered the overall percentage of those meeting the criteria).
