Good Morning! I’m at the Mid-America Hypnosis Conference in Chicago. Just made a run to Caribou Coffee to start my day.

I am giving two presentations today and if you are here the area, please come. The first presentation is a 45 minute gig on weight-loss success; how to define success and how to create a successful weight-loss program.

Bees On The Door Knob is one of my favorite talks. I give this one tonight from 6 PM to 9 PM. Bees On the Door Knob is based on an old Overboard cartoon that unfortunately I have lost – if you have it, please email it to me. In this cartoon, the first panel shows the Captain and the First Mate through the window looking down as pirates are pillaging their ship of their gold & treasurers. The final panel shows the pirates sailing away with the Captain & the First Mate staring down at a been on the door knob. They were paralyzed in fear – in fear of a bee. Fear kept them from their treasurers.

That is often how it is with weight-loss. Fear of losing weight or being at an ideal weight takes on so many, many forms. Fear of success, fear of failure, fear of being noticed, fear of not being noticed, fear of being different and on and on.  What fear keeps you from being at your ideal weight?
