When we struggle
When we struggle, our thoughts and our emotions of fear, sadness, hurt and anger come into play. We get the old familiar feelings and sensations in our body and we want to quit.
Our feelings reflect our past. We’ve memorized them and to change is to abandon the past, the familiar and the comfortable. We all want the familiar comfortable, even when it’s miserable.
To change, to move through the struggle, the fear, sadness, hurt and anger requires new thoughts and new emotions and we must act in new ways.
