Doesn’t bread cause weight gain?

According to an article in Foodnavigator-use,com, research could help bread shake its bad rap of contributing to weight gain. As a weight loss hypnosis specialist, people frequently ask me, “Can I eat bread?” Of course I urge you to not eat white bread – you want a good hearty whole grain bread.

My observation over the past 19 years is that Slender For Life™ hypnosis weight loss clients who eat 4 or 5 slices a bread throughout a week are able to more easily release two pounds in a week than those that eat two or more slices a day.

From my own personal experience and feedback from people who are living at a healthy ideal weight, you can eat bread everyday and maintain a healthy weight.

I think that the big problem with bread is what people put on their bread. If you are spreading fat over your toast, you are not eating healthy. I love dry bread and toast and I love to spread my homemade blackberry jam on my homemade bread.

We do use a good quality store bought for sandwiches. I’m a happy camper when I toast bread and then make a lettuce, tomato and avocado sandwich. That and a great salad is one of my favorite meals.
