Flaxseed

The body or research supporting the cancer-fighting and other health benefits of flaxseed s increasing rapidly. It was about 2 years ago that I really started looking into flaxseed. I had used it sporadically over the years, but not regularly.

For the past 2 years I’ve had at least a tablespoon a flaxseed every day – usually in my oatmeal. I purchase flax seeds at our local market and then grind them up as I use them. We have a coffee grinder that we keep just for flax seed. Both the whole and ground flaxseed is kept in the refrigerator.
