Another study commissioned by the National Cancer Institute at the National Institutes of Health and the World Cancer Research Fund finds Dairy (Not Soy) Skyrockets Breast Cancer Risk. There is a growing body of evidence that point to multiple health risks that are caused from the consumption of any and all dairy products including yogurt.
Among the many other diseases are prostate and ovarian cancer, cardiovascular disease, coronary heart disease and stroke, autoimmune diseases (including diabetes, multiple sclerosis and rheumatoid arthritis) and diminished bone health. In spite of what the dairy council wants you to believe, milk does not build strong bones.
Think about this for a moment. In the wild, no other animal drinks another animals milk. Humans are only meant to drink their mother’s milk until they are weaned. After that, we have no business drinking any other animal’s milk. We don’t need it.
Today there are many options to dairy products. In our house, my wife uses rice milk and I use almond-coconut milk (both unsweetened).
