OK – so these are from 2005 – but I just found them and the information is current today and I do recommend the book, Disease Proof Your Child: Feed Your Kids Right by Joel Fuhrman, M.D. With Dr. Joel Fuhrman ‘s recommendations you can reduce your child‘s chances for asthma, ear infections and allergies and you can protect your child against diabetes, cardiovascular disease and cancer.

Joel Fuhrman  has an excellent section Compare Diets and another section titled What You Need to Know About Vegetarian or Vegan Diets – I recommend reading both.

I have found at Slender For Life™  that kids adapt pretty quickly to eating the vegetables and water over pizza and coke.
