Flaxseed for weight loss
I had forgotten that you can use flaxseed for weight loss. I use flaxseed everyday. I put it my oatmeal and in my salad. It gets lost in the oatmeal but I like the thickness it adds to my balsamic vinegar dressing.
Flaxseed is a rich source of healthy fat, antioxidants, and fiber. The seeds contain protein, lignans, and the essential fatty acid alpha-linolenic acid, also known as ALA or omega-3. The nutrients in flaxseed may help lower the risk of diabetes, cancer, and heart disease.

Here are those two recent 20-pound weight loss studies, which appear to be the outliers. But still, put all the studies together, and you do see a significant reduction in body weight, BMI, and waistlines following flax seed supplementation in randomized, controlled trials—though one should expect more like two pounds of weight lost rather than 20.”
