Getting through the holidays without gaining weight can be a challenge. There are the parties and the meals out, the cookies, candies, cakes and breads. There are the cheese logs and often more alcohol. And then there is the stress and stress eating that goes with holiday preparation. Most Americans are packing on the pounds.

Unfortunately, hypnosis is not taught in kindergarten and so most people do not know how to use self-hypnosis to keep calm and relaxed through the holidays and don’t know that they can use hypnotherapy to keep from becoming (more) overweight.

One tool that Slender For Life clients use to help balance out the holidays is Mary’s Mini Diet by Dr. John McDougall and his wife Mary. Mary’s Mini-McDougall diet part 1 and Mary’s Mini-McDougall diet part 2 came out last year and it has proven to be a useful tool even if only used for 2 or 3 days at a time for myself and for Slender For Life clients.
