Did you know that good habits are as addictive as bad habits? I don’t think that most people realize that. I frequently hear from Seattle hypnosis and Bainbridge Island hypnosis clients that the behavior they want to change is habit – one that they feel they can’t break. Actually, end bad habits and creating healthy new habits can be really easy with hypnosis. I teach all my clients self hypnosis so that they have the life long skill of hypnotherapy to make healthy changes in their life. Good habits are as addictive as bad habits and whole lot more rewarding!
“Good habits are as addictive as bad habits, and a lot more rewarding.” ~ Harvey Mackay
It takes about 21 days to change bad habits and to replace them with new ones. Even as you focus on the new habit, the new you, you still must face the reality of giving up the old habit. Abstinence alone isn’t enough to hold us when it comes to dropping an old habit. We need to find a new focus that’s more enticing, more compelling than the old habit, to shift interest and energy to a new way of living.
Healthy habits are ultimately about getting up every morning and choosing to do the “right” thing for your body. Every day requires a renewed commitment and a willingness to be present and accountable for your actions. Once you have the tools and motivation, the change is up to you! Self hypnosis can help you with that motivation.
Good habits can become just as addictive as bad habits; the only difference is that the good habits are a lot more rewarding. A healthy addiction to a healthy habit can really help us stay on track when it comes to our weight loss and fitness goals.
The light switch self-hypnosis technique allows you to quickly and easily create healthy addictions to healthy habits. Here at Hypnosis Health Info you can learn hypnosis to change your habits. Learn hypnosis and change your life.
