Gratitude is good for your soul and helps your heart. A positive mental attitude fends off depression, stress and anxiety. The holidays are upon us and in just 2 weeks we will be celebrating New Year’s Eve. It is easy to get caught up in the shopping, traffic, credit card debt, parties, family issues and year-end business details and forget about being grateful for the abundance in life. Studies show that the more grateful you are, the healthier you are.
At Seattle Hypnosis with Roger Moore, I teach mindfulness hypnosis for gratitude. In spite of all the stressors, life is abundant. Learn hypnosis so that you can be mindful and improve your heart and health.

Gratitude Is Good For The Soul And Helps The Heart, Too
NPR, November 23, 2015: A positive mental attitude is good for your heart. It fends off depression, stress and anxiety, which can increase the risk of heart disease, says Paul Mills, a professor of family medicine and public health at the University of California San Diego School of Medicine. Mills specializes in disease processes and has been researching behavior and heart health for decades. He wondered if the very specific feeling of gratitude made a difference, too.
It turned out the more grateful people were, the healthier they were. “They had less depressed mood, slept better and had more energy,” says Mills.
By focusing on those things that you can feel grateful for and acknowledging their presence in your life and letting that sense of gratitude wash over you, that very much helps us manage and cope.
And when Mills did blood tests to measure inflammation, the body’s natural response to injury, or plaque buildup in the arteries, he found lower levels among those who were grateful — an indication of better heart health.
I love it that being thankful creates health, happiness and joy! That is so awesome! It even seems appropriate right now to do the Gratitude Dance! Mindfulness hypnosis can help you to live in the moment and truly appreciate the abundance in your life – no matter how bad things may seem, give thanks for the wealth that life offers. Learn hypnosis for mindfulness and begin each day with gratitude helping your heart and soul with health, happiness and joy.
This is the season of joy. Give thanks!
