So what do you think? What is the government’s role in protecting us? Do we want food advertising restricted – would that prevent Cinnabon from blowing the smell of yeast & cinnamon into the food court? Should the government counter-advertise to remind people of the harm of overeating and unhealthful eating?! Or, is it time to be responsible and avoid the places where you are most likely to overeat and the people with whom you tend to overeat? Should parents be responsible of establishing healthy eating habits for their children by keeping sodas and most snack foods out of the house, limiting portion sizes and never asking children to finish everything on their plates?
At Slender For Life, we teach people that one of the few things in life that you do have control over is what you eat, how much you eat and ultimately your weight. No one force feeds you KFC or Haagen-Dazs! I do know that there is a lot of trickery that goes into food advertising – but it is my choice to be seduced or use hypnosis to take control of the trance I am in – or the trance being pushed on me by the food industry.
Using self-hypnosis I manage my behavior and then can easily choose an apple over an Oreo. Hypnotherapy really is effective at changing behavior.
