Risks of eating fish

The health risks of eating fish continue to be researched and argued over. The marketers have done a great job of selling omega-3 fish oils convincing many to spend large sums of money on what Michael Greger M.D. FACLM calls snake oil.

For more than 22 years I have supported hundreds of people in their shift to a whole-food plant-based lifestyle. To me what is most important is that you increase the amount of vegetables and whole grains that you consume and decrease the amount of fish, chicken, beef, pork and dairy.

That may sound radical but to me, living with the diseases caused by animal products is radical. You may be thinking that you could never decrease or even give up your consumption of meat and dairy, but hypnosis can help you to easily make that transition.

I grew up on a dairy farm and for most of my life I ate meat and dairy. For most of my life I was overweight and at obese. 25 years ago I had high blood pressure and I was borderline diabetic. Then, with the help of hypnosis and plant-based food, I lost 120 pounds.

Today, my blood pressure and blood sugar levels are “perfect” and my young doctor laughs when he checks me over saying I have the heart of a 25-year-old.

Greater fish consumption in childhood predicted slower perceptual speed and simple/choice reaction time.” This may be due to neurotoxic contaminants, such as mercury, in seafood.
