Dr. Kim A. Williams: First VEGAN President of the American College of Cardiology

Dr. Kim A. Williams tells us that heart disease is preventable with a whole food plant-based lifestyle. It was one of his patients that first got him to pay attention to the evidence supporting plant-based foods. At the time, his LDL cholesterol was at 170. Six weeks later, eating whole grains, vegetables and fruit, he had lowered his LDL to 90.

Now, Dr. Williams often discusses the benefits of adopting a plant-based diet with his patients who have high cholesterol, diabetes, hypertension, or coronary artery disease.

People frequently tell me that they “can’t” eat vegan. I’m never quite sure how to respond to that can’t – because of course you CAN. You do have the power of choice.

With Slender For Life™ Hypnosis for Weight Loss the transition from the Standard American Diet (SAD) foods that make you fat and sick to the whole plant-based foods that make you slender and healthy becomes easy.

I understand that you may not want to totally give up meat and dairy, but, would it be OK if you increased the amount of grains, vegetables and fruit that you eat? Would it be OK if you only ate because your body needed fueling rather than eating because you are stressed or emotionally upset? If so, give me a call or send me an email. Weight loss hypnosis help is here for you.

Advice From a Vegan Cardiologist

“I recommend a plant-based diet because I know it’s going to lower their blood pressure, improve their insulin sensitivity and decrease their cholesterol,” he said. “And so I recommend it in all those conditions. Some patients are able to do it, and some are not.” Read Advice From a Vegan Cardiologist
