Earliest signs of Alzheimer’s

In the past few weeks two people have contacted me wanting hypnosis after learning that they have the earliest signs of Alzheimer’s. I am excited that more people are learning about the benefits of hypnosis for Alzheimer’s and other dementia.

Both of these people (one lives in Europe and one lives in Hawaii) have family histories of Alzheimer’s and both have had a battery of medical tests showing early signs of this disease.

The gentleman who lives in Europe wants hypnosis for memory enhancement and mindfulness stress reduction. The woman on Kauai contacted me for hypnosis for stress, grief, anger and the other emotional components that accompany this devastating disease.

If you or a loved one are living with Alzheimer’s or other dementia, call me at (206) 903-1232 or email me and let’s talk about your needs and how hypnosis can benefit you.

Spotting the earliest signs of Alzheimer’s

By Andrew Bomford World at One, BBC Radio 4, 26 June, 2017: “The Deep and Frequent Phenotyping Study includes regular brain scans, cognitive and memory testing, retinal imaging, blood tests and the use of wearable technology to measure movement and gait.

The study, described by the researchers as potentially game changing, will monitor and measure small changes on the 250 volunteers over a period of a year. Some of those involved will be at risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease because of their genes or age, and others will not be at risk.

The research will generate huge amounts of data and will use complex big-data mathematical analysis to determine which tests, or combination of tests, best predict later onset of Alzheimer’s.”
