Hypnosis for Covid Persistent Symptoms
As far as I know there is no documented evidence that supports hypnosis for Covid Persistent Symptoms. But, as an experienced Medical Hypnotherapist I am receiving inquiries and requests for medical hypnosis from people who have had the coronavirus.
When I have been asked if hypnosis will help with Covid Persistent Symptoms, my response has been “I don’t know. I think that it might.” There is certainly and abundance of research that shows the use of hypnosis for healing and recovery from illness, disease and surgical procedures. It will be years before we have peer reviewed research on hypnosis for coronavirus.

Hypnosis can help
Over the past 23 years I have helped many people with Medical Hypnosis to heal their body, reduce and eliminate pain and to recover from medical procedures. I have witnessed the healing powers of self-hypnosis and so YES – I do think that hypnosis can help people to overcome Covid Persistent Symptoms.
Currently I have clients who are experiencing fatigue, chronic pain, digestive issues, loss of muscle control, persistent cough, loss of taste and smell, loss of bowel and bladder control, anxiety and other serious health conditions resulting from the multisystem inflammatory syndrome associated with the coronavirus. Each of these individuals were healthy and active prior to contracting COVID-19. The goal for these clients is to use the power of their subconscious mind for their recovery and restoration of health and wellness.
If you are experiencing Covid Persistent Symptoms and would like to learn about how medical hypnosis may benefit you, give me a call at 760-219-8079 or send me an email. All sessions are telehealth sessions conducted live online worldwide while you remain in the comfort and safety of your own home.

“In a research letter published online July 9 in the Journal of the American Medical Association, Angelo Carfi, MD, and colleagues from the Gemelli Against COVID-19 Post-Acute Care Study Group in Rome, Italy report that 87.4% of 143 previously hospitalized patients had at least one persistent symptom 2 months or longer after initial onset and at more than a month after discharge.
Postdischarge assessments of patients who met criteria for SARS-CoV-2 negativity, including a reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) test, were conducted from April 21 to May 29. Among the results:
Only 12.6% of the 143 patients were completely free of any COVID-19 symptom
32% of patients had one or two symptoms and 55% had three or more
None had fever or other signs and symptoms of acute illness
53.1% of patients still had fatigue, 43.4% had dyspnea, 27.3% had joint pain, and 21.7% chest pain
44.1% reported worsened quality of life on the EuroQol visual analog scale.”
