Hypnosis for Post Traumatic Growth

At Seattle Hypnosis with Roger Moore, Hypnosis for Post Traumatic Growth is proving to be effective for overcoming Post Traumatic Stress (PTS). You hear a lot about PTS. Many PTS therapies focus on the traumatic event(s) in an attempt to reduce or eliminate their emotional impact.

After many years of training and practice in that type of therapy, I’ve come to realize that with hypnosis you can unhook the mental and emotional charge and use the experience for growth.

If you are still living past traumas, there is hope for you. You can use your traumatic experiences to create positive changes in your life.

With hypnosis for post traumatic growth you can create your future to be greater than your past.

Trauma

We all have experienced trauma. For some of us, the traumas have been mild by many standards, but you still carry them in your mind. For others, the traumas have been horrific.

When trauma occurs, the brain floods with the stress hormone cortisol. Cortisol (stress hormone) gets us moving quickly to save our lives, but it can also help cancer to grow and spread.

This flooding of stress hormones can inhibit a process called anoikis, which kills diseased cells and prevents them from spreading. Chronic stress also increases the production of certain growth factors that increase your blood supply. This can speed the development of cancerous tumors.

The stories one creates about a traumatic experience coupled with the fear, anxiety and depression can become addicting. It’s like pouring gasoline on a fire. It doesn’t have to be this way. Hypnosis can help you put out that fire and build a new and wonderful life.
