I was asked again over the weekend, “Is a little meat OK?” My response was fairly similar to what I wrote in an Ask Roger post on February 1, 2017.
I began my response by telling the person that diet is a personal choice and that she, and only she can answer that question for herself. I talked with her about research on the health hazards of animal protein (including dairy). I also gave her the links to Hypnosis Health Info and links to NutritionFacts.org, PCRM.org, Dr. McDougall’s Health & Medical Center, Jeff Novick, and ProteinAholic.com.
The facts are out there so you can make an educated choice. The person asked me if I ate meat and I replied with an emphatic, “Heck NO!”
Back in the day when I weighed 260 pounds and was sick, I ate a lot of meat and cheese. For more than 22 years now, I have been slender and healthy.
