I often write about how stress can make you sick, but I’ve been talking a lot lately about how laughter can keep you healthy and happy. Throughout my more than 40 years of professional counseling and hypnotherapy I have always tried to include a laugh in a therapeutic session.
Laughter reduces stress, increase memory recall, improves immune system, lowers blood pressure and can bring blood sugar levels within healthy limits.
After laughing for only a few minutes, you may feel better for hours.
When used in addition to conventional cancer treatments, laughter therapy may help in the overall healing process.
In my Seattle hypnosis office people learn that laughter is a perfect stress reliever and they learn self hypnosis which helps you to get out of the trance of doom and gloom and switch to a trance of joy and health.
You really do have a choice: you can live life from fear and anger or you can allow laughter and happiness to be easy and natural to you. Laughter works fast and dependably to bring your mind and body back into balance.
