Week 10 of our life with Mom has been one of routine – how wonderful! Routine is good! Mom has continued listening to her weight loss hypnosis CD and continues to lose weight. She is down over 10.5 pounds – more than halfway to her goal. She is exercising gaining strength, flexibility and movement.
The real challenges this week have been one’s that my sister and brother-in-law have had to deal with in Colorado. They’ve been stuck working with the contractors who are repairing Mom’s house. Mom made her carpet decision and finalized her paint choices (almost anyway). Picking out paint 1000 miles away we forgot about her bathroom counter top – so she has to do something different in the Master bathroom.
Friday night we went to SuBi, a Japanese restaurant here on Bainbridge – Mom loves her sushi! Sunday, Mom beat me (skunked me in one game) in 2 games of cribbage – so nothing has changed their. Our excitement on Valentines was a big winter wind storm that again took out the power – fortunately it was for less than an hour – that’s truly amazing here on the Island.
While getting my butt kicked in cribbage, Mom and I talked more about self-hypnosis. She is doing an excellent job with weight loss hypnosis. We discussed the importance of continuing to use hypnosis, exercise and eating healthy when she returns home so that she doesn’t fall back into that old trance of her unhealthy lifestyle.
So, if my 88 year old mom can learn hypnosis to change her lifestyle. What about you? You too can use hypnosis to motivate yourself to exercise. Make healthy eating and exercise a part of your daily routine. Hypnosis for weight loss can really change your life – at any age!
