Meditation or hypnosis
Meditation or hypnosis? Have you ever wondered which one is better? That’s a question that I am sometimes asked. my answer – they both are great!
I don’t think that one is better than the other. Meditation has been studied more than hypnosis. Meditation usually takes more time. The payoffs of a regular meditation practice are proven to improve physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health.
With hypnosis you also can have these same powerful benefits. Hypnosis can be quicker than meditation. I teach all of my clients how they can use self-hypnosis in just one minute and achieve successful results.
Personally, I think that it’s not meditation or hypnosis. It is meditation and hypnosis. Everyone can benefit from both meditation and hypnosis.
A client once described the Light Switch Self-hypnosis to me this way, ” With the Light Switch I turn off outside influences and turn on relaxation.”
In my Ask Roger post tomorrow I’m going to discuss my thoughts on the differences between prayer, meditation and hypnosis.
At Bainbridge Island Hypnosis with Roger Moore I teach you the mindfulness techniques of self-hypnosis and meditation.

Can’t Meditate? The Quicker Practice That Gets You the Same Benefits in Less Time
“Some people just don’t get meditation. The devotion, the time commitment: Meditation asks a fair amount of you—though the payoffs in stress relief and improved health make it worthwhile. But if you’re not the meditating type, don’t lose hope: Hypnosis may offer an alternative. This mental technique focuses on the subconscious mind and can produce results in just one session, while meditation is a life-long practice that allows results to happen in a more spontaneous way.”
