Over the past 20 years I’ve come to understand how powerful mindfulness hypnosis for mental resilience really is for health and wellness.

Recently I’ve been fascinated reading the research of Dr. Amishi Jha, director of the University of Miami’s Contemplative Neuroscience, Mindfulness Research and Practice Initiative.

Her research “focuses on the basic mechanisms of attention, how stress depletes it and if and how mindfulness training can strengthen it.” Practicing mindfulness can increase your mental resilience.

Dr. Jha says that getting as little as 12 minutes of meditation practice a day helped U.S. Marines to keep their attention and working memory. If they practiced less than 12 minutes or not at all, attention and working memory deteriorated.
