With all the low carb lies, the obesity epidemic continues at epidemic proportions. The food marketers and weight loss industry continue to sell weight loss myths and nutritional lies. People are buying the low-carb, low fat and gluten free products sending the product manufacturers to the bank laughing all the way. Humans have a need to fit in, a need to belong, even when it’s a silly fad that is fueling obesity and creating a health care crisis that will bankrupt our nation.
The obesity epidemic is reversible and preventable. Please, vote with your wallet and buy whole plant based food.

You hear it a lot these days, and it comes from the Low-Carb world: “We tried Low-Fat and it didn’t work! We are sicker than ever. It is time to cut out all carbs and embrace a high-fat diet!”
Is this true? Did we really try a Low-Fat diet? What does the data actually show?
Over the last 45 years, our diet has not changed very much. The biggest change is we are eating more, and you’d be surprised to learn that our fat consumption has not fallen one bit. Instead, it has risen, along with our consumption of refined grains!
The answer, as always, is to eat mostly whole plant foods. Follow the USDA MyPlate, or commit to a completely plant-based diet!
