What are you doing for Thanksgiving? Do you have a big family meal planned? Are you concerned about your Thanksgiving dinner and your weight? (If not, perhaps you should be.) One of my hypnosis weight loss clients and I were just discussing what will be on our family Thanksgiving table. Of course there will be the big bird and trimmings for the meat eaters, but there will also be Stuffed Pumpkin and several very healthy fat-free vegetable dishes.

Stuffed Pumpkin looks absolutely beautiful on the table with the turkey. Its a gorgeous golden orange that smells wonderful and I love how it tastes. In fact, we have learned to stuff two pumpkins, one for everyone at the family dinner and another one to throw in the oven the next day so that we have leftovers. (It is that good!) The recipe on the Slender For Life website calls for bread stuffing, my wife has been making it (we have had Stuffed Pumpkin twice already this fall) lately with wild-rice and I love it – it is so good!

Be sure that you use your self-hypnosis before the meal so that you only eat enough to meet your bodies nutritional requirements. Thanksgiving is about gratitude and about being with family and friends – it is not about gluttony. And remember, pumpkin pie is for the one meal, not for breakfast, lunch and dinner for the next three days! With hypnotherapy you can be in control of what you eat, how much you eat and your weight.
