Becoming the Greatest Expression of You is all about resilience. It can enhance your ability to cope with difficult situations while maintaining a positive outlook.

You are human, and you have human experiences. In your life, you will go through rough times. You will have disappointments, change and loss. These are normal human experiences.

These experiences can cause stress, anxiety, fear, sadness and anger. This is nothing to feel guilty or bad about. Again, these are normal human emotions. It’s OK to have these thoughts and emotions.

The real question is, are you going to get stuck in these emotions or are you going to move through them and create your future to be greater than your past?

People who are Joyfully being their Best Self are resilient because you have the tools to cope with and bounce back from the troublesome events that life presents.

Think of it this way: People who are physically healthy are better able to bounce back from illness or injury. People who are mentally and emotionally healthy are better able to spring back back too.

What are you firing and wiring?

Researchers have found that you are evolutionarily hard-wired to feel negative emotions more intensely, you are also hardwired to experience positive emotions more frequently – as long as you choose to focus on these positive emotions.

Give yourself some time right now to reflect and ask yourself, “What are you firing and wiring?” Are you stuck in those old ways of being such as anger, fear and sadness? Do your thoughts instinctively go to what can go wrong or why something won’t work? Are you living in the trance of negative thinking?

Or, are you firing and wiring new neuropathways by Becoming the Greatest Expression of You? Are you memorizing Joy and Mentally Rehearsing being your Best Self throughout the day? Are you creating a new trance of giving thanks for your success before it has even happened?

Joyfully being your Best Self is the pathway to resilience where you can use your grit, tenacity and ability to navigate your way out of tough times.

You can be creative, resourceful and resilient in good times and bad. This resilience makes you less afraid of new things or an uncertain future. Even when you don’t know how a problem will get resolved, you feel hope that a solution will be found.

The great news is that you do have the power of choice. You can choose resilience by being the Greatest Expression of You.
