Just thought I’d check in and let you know: I’M DOING GREAT!!!

I’m listening to the tracks 6:4 & 6:5 every day….very helpful. I’m working on my ‘homework’, coming up with my goals, my 52 reasons for reaching my goal weight etc. It’s really making me think about these things in a way that I haven’t before, and solidifying them in my mind and my actions.

Best of all: I’m eating Vegan! I’ve been doing it since I saw you last. I feel amazing: light, clear, focused, calm. No cravings. I feel SO MUCH BETTER not eating animals : my eating finally matches up with my ethics, my politics and my love of animals. Plus I’m amazed at how steady my energy is throughout the day, no crashes, no need for the late afternoon coffee. I’m waking up earlier and staying up later! I’m thrilled with this!

I read VEGANIST by Kathy Freston….very helpful. Very compelling as well. I’m excited about trying new foods and ‘crowding out’ the bad old foods. I’ve spent a fair amount of time on DrMcDougalls website, looking at foods, recipes etc. I’m sticking with my ‘only eat sugar on days that start with S (sat/sun) ….and that’s very helpful as well. Clear boundaries work well for me…I have a tendency to be an ‘all or nothing’ kinda gal…so this is all working for me!

Even when I was working on this past gig in Houston ….I even took 15 minutes out of the 30 minute lunch break to take a fast walk around the property! This is unheard of for me; I’ve always found it very difficult to make myself exercise. NOT ANYMORE!!! It all seems more ‘do-able’, not such a chore. It’s gotta be the hypnosis working, right?

Now I’m on my vacation in Palm Springs…and my eating is going fine here too. It’s a little trickier, because of eating out a lot, but so far, I’m managing to make the right choices.

I’m so excited about all this, Roger…that I just had to write and tell you! THANK YOU SO MUCH for all that you’re doing to help me! I’m visualizing myself daily at my goal weight, and for the first time in so many years….I know I’m going to get there.
