Can you even imagine having your teeth pulled without anesthetic? I’m not sure that I can. Are you putting off needed dental work because of fear of dentists? I went over 13 years without going to the dentist. My dental fear kept me from even thinking about it. Then, after becoming a hypnotherapist, I started using dental hypnosis and it wasn’t long before I made my first dental appointment. No more dental phobia! Now when I go for my six month cleaning I sit comfortably in the chair, use self-hypnosis and I go to the beach.

After avoiding the dentist for the best part of a decade, Leslie Mason was in pain and knew he needed some work. He needed two rotten teeth and four roots removed but could not afford to pay £400 for the work and was dreading the agony he was about to endure.

He mentioned his dilemma to his friend a qualified hypnotist, who revealed he had been discussing the potential of hypnosis to a dentist he knew. He underwent a two-hour procedure without anesthetic last month and afterwards reported feeling nothing more than a little sting.

“It was incredible. There is no worse pain than that inflicted by dentists but I didn’t feel any,” said Mr Mason. “The dentist had to dig away at the rotten roots that were right up into my jaw. There isn’t anything I wouldn’t have done under hypnosis now. It’s incredible.” Read Man Uses Hypnosis Yo Dull Pain As Dentists Pulls Out His Teeth WITHOUT Anesthetic.

As a junior high kid, my dad took me to a dentist who had only one hand – his right hand was a silver metal hook that he put in my mouth to hold my tongue while he worked. (Please don’t imagine what that was like!) Needless to say, I went to great lengths to avoid going to any dentist after that.

When you think of going to the dentist do you have images of Little Shop Of Horrors? When that movie came out I didn’t think it was that funny – it seemed too true for me – now, thanks to dental hypnosis, I now love that movie!
