This past week in my Slender For Life group sessions we have been discussing the “C” word – COMMITMENT. Dieters are often uncommitted to making the changes they need to make to lose weight. Sometimes they start out committed and lose weight some weight, but then they quit.

There are two components to commitmentneed and motivation. A person who is 200# over weight has need and can be motivated to lose weight. They do really well and lose 150#. For the first time in years they can tie their shoe, pick up a paper clip, sit on the floor with the grand kids and get back up. How can life get any better?! Even though they are still 50# over weight – they quit losing weight. The same thing can happen with someone who starts out 20# over weight – they lose 15# and life gets busy and with only 5# to go their weight loss is no longer a priority.

With hypnosis you can keep your motivation to live the rest of your life at your healthy ideal weight. By using self-hypnosis you can remember why you skip the extra cookie. If you haven’t seen my video, Remember When, I urge you to watch it. What is it that is so compelling about living the rest of your life at your ideal weight that makes exercise worth while? What is it that is so compelling about living the rest of your life at your ideal weight that makes having one glass of wine instead of two worth while? What is it that is so compelling about living the rest of your life at your ideal weight that makes leaving food on your plate worth while?
