Time to cook
Which is it for you – time to cook or time for your doctor? So many of the illnesses that are driving up our healthcare costs today are food-born. By that I mean, they are a result of the Standard American Diet.
Thankfully, many of these same illnesses are preventable and reversible with a whole-food plant-based lifestyle.
One complaint that I sometimes hear is that I don’t have time for all of that cooking it takes for vegetables and whole grains. So it’s off to McDonald’s or the rotisserie chicken from the market. My experience is that over the past 25 years of eating plant-based meals, I’ve spent very little time in a doctor’s office. I just received an email from someone who I helped with hypnosis 3 years ago. She is now off all her medications and her medical doctor (who she used to see a couple times a month) told her to come back in one year.
She makes time to cook and is slender and healthy.
Plant-based eating can be surprisingly quick, easy, affordable and absolutely delicious! So, my question to you is, how do you want to spend your time?
