Twas the Night Before ChristmasTwas the Night Before Christmas and it is. I love Christmas. It is a time when our family comes together and we share in love and laughter. Our gathering will be smaller this year. Our son Tim, daughter-in-law Agnes and granddaughter Riley will not be here for Christmas eve dinner and to spend the night. Agnes is scheduled to deliver granddaughter number 5 on the 27th and understandably did not want to be a ferry ride from the hospital. We are excitedly awaiting the birth of Ellie – the best Christmas gift of all! Our son Josh and his wife Lauren who live in Minneapolis also could not be here. We will miss them very much. Our son Larry, his wife Nancy and granddaughters Alex & Kenna are in Whistler, B.C. skiing and we will meet up with them at Tim’s on Christmas Day.

Our Night Before Christmas will be small, it will be our daughter Shellee, granddaughter Cassie and Marilyn’s brother and his wife, Bob and Julie. It will still be a magical time of love and laughter.
