In the early days of Slender For Life™ I recommended that people only weigh once each week in my office. But, the National Weight Loss Registry’s data showed that people who weighed daily were more apt to maintain their weight goal.
Because of the Registry’s data, I began to recommend daily weighing to all clients. The catch of course is to remember that the number on the scale is data – it is feedback. It is not something that you base your emotions for the day. It’s like the gas gauge on your car – it tells you when you need to pay attention.
